Amenities and Recreation

Caribou Highlands Lodge offers an indoor pool and a seasonal outdoor pool, both with mountain views, plus a hot tub and a water slide. Guests can use the fitness center, bike repair and washing stations, and outdoor fire pits with free firewood and s'mores kits. The lodge also provides board games, table tennis, cornhole, bocce ball, and a giant chess set for on-site recreation.

Accommodations

Rooms include lodge rooms, condos, and private homes located along the Moose Access ski trail, each individually owned with distinct designs. Select units offer mountain views, fireplaces, full kitchens, and private hot tubs; some condos have separate bedroom and living levels. The entire property is smoke-free, and pet-friendly rooms are available for guests traveling with dogs.

On-Site Dining and Bar

Moguls Grille & Tap Room is a ski-in, ski-out restaurant with a fireplace and a partial open kitchen, serving local cuisine and craft beverages. A complimentary waffle bar is offered during select hours for lodge guests. The bar also provides kids' meals, special diet menus, wine, and champagne.

Location and Outdoor Access

Caribou Highlands sits in the Sawtooth Mountains, 10 minutes from Temperance River State Park and close to the Superior Hiking Trail, rated one of the top 10 hiking trails in the nation. Guests have access to miles of paved and rugged biking trails, guided climbing tours for all skill levels, and Lake Superior charter fishing. The Superior National Golf Course is a 3-minute drive, and Cascade River State Park is 16 km away.

Family and Pet Services

Kids can use the outdoor play equipment, board games, and participate in free activities like crafts and educational seminars. The lodge provides free s'mores kits, free firewood, and free laundry for families. Dogs are allowed in designated rooms, and a shuttle service runs to the ski hills and nearby attractions.
